I encourage everyone to view this timely, insightful movie about making your marriage what God intended it to be. In conjunction with the release of this film, I am preaching a series of sermons on this Biblical theme. The dates and titles are as follows:
September 28 “The Purpose of Marriage” The greatest, most up-to-date marriage manual is the Word of God. It has several basic reasons that marriage
is to be honored.
October 5 “The Parasites upon Marriage” There are certain myths about modern marriage that we will expose. These myths have attacked the very
foundation of the home.
October 12 “The Proverbs about Marriage” God’s wisdom from this great Old Testament book still offers timely insights about right living.
October 19 “The Plan for Marriage” Building the home upon the foundation of Jesus Christ is the wise thing to do. A husband and wife can share
values, faith, and strengths.
October 26 “The Permanence of Marriage” The percentage of divorce is not much different for those in the church as those who are not in the church.
We are attempting to build something that will last “till death do us part”.
Be in prayer for all these messages. Be faithful to attend all the services.
We have mailed almost 5000 flyers to homes around our church. We hope for, and expect, many guests. Be ready to be good hosts.
